Reserves

For student inquiries: Please direct students to the front desk, as all 3-hour loans are kept behind the circulation counter. 

For instructor inquiries: The library keeps a copy of most required textbooks on 3-hour reserve. If an instructor would like to place an item on reserve, direct them to contact Joe Haigh: jhaigh@columbiacollege.ca or Faith Jones: fjones@columbiacollege.ca 

Interlibrary Loans

Not available, but if students want to request a specific book for purchase they can email us: library@columbiacollege.ca

Instructors may submit requests for ILL through the EDS or by emailing Joe Haigh or Faith Jones.

After hours book returns Books can be returned in the book drop, directly outside the library's doors. 
Equipment & Facilities
Internet Access All computers at Columbia College are connected to the internet. 
Wireless Access Students can connect to the ColumbiaCollege network. To login, they use their student portal login credentials. Typically, this is their student number and cc!MMDDYY (using their birthday) as their password.

Computer Labs

Room 340 on the 3rd floor: students can use when not booked by a class.

Room 222: dedicated student computer lab/study room. 

Library Computers The library has 24 computers for students to use. There is currently no time limit and no way to book computers online. 
Meeting / Study Rooms

2 group study rooms in the library - not bookable at the moment.

Rm 416 (4th floor outside of the silent study area in the library) is available for students when workshops are not being held.
