Author
Most Statistics Canada documents will have the author as Statistics Canada. This is considered a group or corporate author.
When the government department, agency or committee that created the document is also the publisher, put the word Author where you'd normally put the name of the publisher in the full citation.
Publisher
Because the author and publisher are both Statistics Canada, the word Author is used where you'd normally put the Publisher's name.
Note: All citations should be double spaced and have a hanging indent in a Reference List.
A "hanging indent" means that each subsequent line after the first line of your citation should be indented by 0.5 inches.
